About Karen Hutchinson: Karen has worked in the fitness industry for over twenty years. Striving to innovate and develop her love of health and wellbeing into the lives of the people she teaches.
As an advanced trainer Karen uses a mixture of traditional gym exercise, along with Yoga and Pilates to improve clients overall health and fitness. Recognizing fitness is for life; Karen’s clients benefit from intuitive programs that not only help to aid in physical development but also improve and motivate overall life approach – enabling her cliental to achieve faster results and a greater ability to manage the stresses of daily life.
Experience and Career in the Industry:
Her early career was in London and Bristol; moving within various areas of the media and event management. This included working with GMTV and as a presenter with Rainbow Productions. Her corporate clients have included Allied Dunbar, Guinness and local authorities (such as The Inner London Education Authority, Bristol Primary Care Trust and Somerset & Avon Council), Karen also worked with members of The Ladies Professional Golf Tour and various private leisure clubs.
Having moved to Cornwall, Karen works closely with the National Health Service (NHS), delivering GP referral exercise sessions and has undertaken further cardiac rehabilitation and cancer rehabilitation training.
In addition to this, Karen continues to provide personnel training within the private sector, working with elite athletes and with those needing rehabilitation.
